"In the beginning of the college process, I was at a complete loss in knowing what were important components of a school and team that I should look for. Nevertheless, among each of the schools I considered, Princeton consistently stood out to me as reaching the highest caliber academically, but also as a community. Princeton provides educational and athletic opportunities that are truly unmatched, and I couldn't be more grateful to attend. Joining this team, I felt that I would be viewed as much more than just an athlete, and I was only reassured of this on my visit when I met the team. Princeton will be a challenge of course, but I know I will be surrounded by a supportive, motivated, and determined group of women, coaches, professors, and staff along the way. I'm so excited for the fall!" – India Ingemi

Javelin: 149'7"
2019 Connecticut State Champion,
2019 New England Champion
2019 3rd at New Balance Nationals
COACH COMMENT
"Kate joined her high school track and field team as a junior after having spent most of her high school career focused on volleyball, basketball and baseball. Her move to track as well as the decision to try javelin throwing paid off immediately as Kate established herself as one of the top javelin throwers in the country with a top 16 ranking and earning a top three finish at New Balance Nationals. Although Kate is a wildly gifted athlete (she also has over 1000 career points for her basketball team), her greatest assets are her work ethic, growth mindset, leadership skills, and her commitment to her teammates."
WHY PRINCETON
"A beautiful school with rigorous academics, countless resources, and a top-notch athletic program affording me opportunities to grow definitely drew me to Princeton. But what was most impressive to me was the connection I felt when I visited Coach Eisenreich and the team last fall. Support for teammates and a sense of unity is something I've always valued in sports, so I am super excited to continue my athletic experiences as a Tiger, in a program that shares those ideals." - Kate Joyce

COACH COMMENT
"Brielle broke onto the throws scene as a junior by surprising many with two personal record performances at the New Jersey Meet of Champions to finish 4th and 6th in the shot and discus respectively. She went on to have another PR performance to earn a runner-up finish at the New Jersey Indoor Meet of Champions this year. Brielle is a self-motivated, big meet performer with an incredible work ethic who will most certainly make a big impact in the Ivy League."

As the state champion at 800m, she has willingly stretched her range to become a scoring member of the 2018 Nike National Cross Country Championship team. Her "do it all" approach for the team will allow Isabel the opportunity to explore her range during the middle distance heavy indoor and outdoor Ivy League championships. "Brianna has been honing her skills as a sprinter since she was little. Her results speak for themselves across both the short and long sprints as she broke onto the national scene in the 2020 indoor season in the 200m with a top 20 ranking. She has also devoted a great deal of time developing both the long jump and high jump.
