Through The Eyes: Jose Morales Seals The Sweep of Penn

PRINCETON, N.J. – Jose Morales' layup through heavy contact with 10 seconds remaining sealed the season sweep for the Princeton University men's basketball team over the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, January 10, 2020 inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
The Quakers got hot to close the game out, trimming the lead to just three points at 61-58 with 39 seconds on the clock. With 10 seconds remaining, Morales took the ball all the way to the basket, finished through the foul and gave the Tigers a 63-58 lead, which would be the final score of the game.
The victory meant the Tigers swept series against Penn for two-straight seasons and Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson improved his record as head coach of the Tigers to 15-4 against the Quakers. Penn also entered Ivy League play scoring a conference-high 79 points per game; their 58 points against the Tigers were a season-low.
