Bryant Earns Ivy Rookie Weekly Honor
October 04, 2021 | Women's Soccer
A goal in the midweeker against Bucknell and assists on two of the three goals against Dartmouth have netted Lily Bryant the honor as the Ivy League women's soccer Rookie of the Week.
Bryant opened the scoring five minutes into the game against the Bison last Tuesday in an eventual 6-1 win. On Saturday, Bryant assisted on Princeton's first and third goals at Dartmouth as the Tigers won 3-0 to move to 2-0 in the Ivy and 9-1-1 overall.
Bryant now has four goals and three assists through the team's first 11 games in her first season of competition with the team. The award is Princeton's second rookie honor of the year, along with Heather MacNab on Sept. 13.
The Tigers will head to Brown on Saturday at 3 p.m. in a matchup of two of the three Ivy-unbeaten teams.
