Men's Soccer Denied At Temple

Princeton fell behind early in the second half at Temple and could not rally in a 2-0 loss in Philadelphia.
Chaim Roserie opened the scoring in the 51st minute, finishing in the upper right corner following a scrum inside the box.
With Princeton pressing forward late in the match in hunt of an equalizer, the Owls scored in transition to add an insurance tally. Jalen Campbell was on a run down the right side, capitalizing on an unfortunate sequence for the Tigers as a defender suffered an injury in pursuit. All alone on goal, Campbell tucked a shot by the keeper for a 2-0 lead in the 79th minute.
Princeton had a pair of good looks in the 85th minute, but a Malik Pinto shot was saved and a chance off the foot of James Wangsness on the ensuing corner sailed just wide of the left post.
The Tigers finished with a 15-8 edge in shots. Liam Cummings had eight saves for the Owls.
Princeton falls to 4-5-0 this season while the Owls improve to 2-5-0.
The Tigers return to Ivy play on October 9, heading to Brown for a 7 p.m. kickoff with the Bears.
