For only the second time this season, the Princeton field hockey team has a single game on a Saturday rather than a Friday/Sunday doubleheader. This time, it's also the first overnight trip of the season, and the longest trip at that.

Princeton is one of three teams who are 2-0 in the Ivy League, along with Harvard and Cornell. Brown and Yale are both 1-1, and Dartmouth, Columbia and Penn are all 0-2. None of the 2-0 teams or 0-2 teams play each other this weekend, as the league schedule has Princeton at Dartmouth, Cornell at Penn, Harvard at Yale and Brown at Columbia.
Princeton has won 26 Ivy League field hockey championships, which is more than the rest of the league combined.
National rankings
Princeton began the season ranked 13th in the country. The Tigers are now 18th. Interestingly, they were 17th last week and then beat No. 16 UConn (and unranked Yale) but then dropped down one spot anyway.
Of Princeton's five losses, four are to teams ranked this week in the top nine: No. 3 Louisville, No. 5 Rutgers, No. 8 Maryland, No. 9 North Carolina. The games against Louisville and Maryland went to overtime.
Princeton's other loss was to No. 22 Duke. Princeton has wins over No. 16 UConn and No. 21 Delaware and still has games to play against No. 4 Penn State and No. 11 Harvard.
