Three Tigers Earn Women's Cross Country All-Ivy Honors
November 02, 2021 | Women's Cross Country
After helping Princeton to a second place finish at the 2021 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, a trio of women's cross country runners have been named All-Ivy.
Fiona Max earned first-team All-Ivy honors, while Angie Allen and Abby Loveys were named second-team All-Ivy.
In addition, Abby Loveys was named Academic All-Ivy for the 2021 season.
"These three women have absolutely earned their place on the All-Ivy teams," said head coach Brad Hunt. "Their effort has been top-notch all year, and they set the tone for us at Heps. We're continuing to build with our young group, all three of these student-athletes will return for us next year, and we're excited to see what's still in store for the Tigers at Regionals and beyond this month."
All three All-Ivy honorees for the Tigers are first-time selections. Fiona Max earned her first-team selection with a second-place finish in her first Heps start. Angie Allen (10th) and Abby Loveys (14th) each also secured their first career All-Ivy honors while scoring at Heps for the first time.
The Tigers next compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals at Lehigh on November 12 at noon.
