PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team will host Drexel University inside Jadwin Gymnasium on Saturday, December 4, at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Tigers were able to reduce an 18-point deficit to a single point, but the Tigers came up just short Wednesday night inside the David S. Mack Exhibition Center, falling to Hofstra University 81-77. Along with out-scoring the Pride 43-31 in the second half, Princeton shot 31-for-57 from the field, for a season-high 54.4%.

Senior Jaelin Llewellyn had a game-high 24 points on 9-for-16 shooting from the field and 4-for-8 shooting from three, along with four rebounds. Senior Ethan Wright had his second-straight double-double and his fourth of the season, finishing with 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while also handing out a career-best six assists. Junior Ryan Langborg shot 6-for-9 from the field and 4-for-6 from three for 16 points, pulled down a career-high seven rebounds, and handed out a career-best four assists. Junior Tosan Evbuomwan also added 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting.

Evbuomwan's 4.6 assists per game lead the Ivy League, as does his 1.9 assist/turnover ratio. He also leads the team in blocks, with three on the season.

Wright is also ranked third in the conference in rebounding with 8.6 rebounds per game, third in three-pointers with 3.0 per game, and fourth in three-point percentage at 48.1%. His nine steals are also a team-high.

Llewellyn is ranked fifth in the Ivy League scoring at 15.5 points per game, while Wright is sixth with 15.0 points per game.

The Tigers are 8-4 all-time against the Dragons, with the first matchup between the two programs taking place in 1901 and the most recent in 2019, an 82-76 win for Drexel on Wednesday, September 22.

Three Tigers have stepped up re-set their career-highs in scoring on multiple occasions so far in 2021-21. Evbuomwan has re-set his three times (12 points vs. South Carolina, 16 points vs. Minnesota, 19 points vs. Fairleigh Dickinson), while Wright (24 points vs. Oregon State, 29 points vs. Fairleigh Dickinson) and Langborg (14 points vs. Marist, 18 points vs. FDU) have re-set theirs twice.
