Men's Basketball Downs Bucknell, 82-69

PRINCETON, N.J. – Led by four double digit scorers, the Princeton University men's basketball team overcame Bucknell University Tuesday night inside Jadwin Gymnasium, 82-69.
Senior Jaelin Llewellyn had a game-high 20 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, along with 4-for-6 shooting from behind the three-point line. Junior Tosan Evbuomwan added 16 points on 8-for-10 shooting from the field, while leading the game in steals with a career-high four. Evbuomwan also tied for the game-high in rebounds with six, and assists with five.
Junior Ryan Langborg finished with 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting, handed out a career-high four assists, and recorded a career-high three steals. Senior Drew Friberg also went 5-for-8 from the field and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points.
As a team, the Tigers shot 51.0% from the field (25-for-49), out-rebounded the Bison 32-26, and handed out 18 assists to Bucknell's 16.
A Langborg three-pointer with 19:01 on the clock sparked a 7-0 run that saw Princeton take a 10-2 advantage with 16:51 left in the half following a Llewellyn dunk. Freshman Mason Hooks then began to dominate the paint, scoring six points inside 1:33, culminating in a layup with 14:10 remaining in the half that gave the Tigers a 16-9 lead.
Back-to-back layups by Evbuomwan at 11:49 and 11:22 saw the Tigers take a 10-point advantage at 22-12, then another Evbuomwan basket gave the Tigers a 24-14 lead with 9:40 on the clock. Another Evbuomwan layup with 6:37 left in the half led off an 8-0 run, giving the Tigers 10-0 run, giving the Tigers a 40-24 advantage with 2:25 left to play, following another Evbuomwan layup. Princeton would proceed to take a 45-32 advantage into halftime.
A cutting Langborg laid it in for two at 8:03, then Hooks found a Friberg for two with 7:32 remaining, giving Princeton a 74-51 lead over the Bison. Princeton managed to hold off Bucknell for the remainder of the contest, prevailing with a final score of 82-69.
The Tigers travel to Easton, Pennsylvania, to take on Lafayette College (2-6) on Saturday, December 11 at 2 p.m.

Llewelyn finished around the basket with 17:28 remaining, sparking a 7-0 run that gave Princeton a 57-36 lead with 15:56 on the clock, after a three-pointer by Llewellyn.
