Ayorinde Qualifies for NCAA East Regional

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Ibrahim Ayorinde of the Princeton University men's track & field team has qualified for the NCAA East Regional, as announced by the organization Thursday.

Ayorinde will compete in the 200 meters. The meet takes place inside Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, from Wednesday, May 26 until Sunday, May 29.

The first round of the 200 will take place at 8:45 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 26 and the quarterfinals commence at 8:10 p.m. ET on Friday, May 28. Ayorinde has had an impressive season; at Fast Times Before Finals on Saturday, May 1, in Glassboro, New Jersey, his time of 20.88 in the 200 saw him move up to No. 2 on the Tigers' all-time list.
