Trippas of Men's Track & Field Produces Outstanding Steeplechase Performance

FULL RESULTS
PORTLAND, Ore. – Ed Trippas of the Princeton University men's track & field team turned in at outstanding performance in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Friday at the Portland Track Festival – High Performance Meet on the campus of Lewis & Clarke College.

Trippas clocked in at 8:26.25, a time would lead the NCAA and improve upon his PR of 8:33.90 from the NCAA Regional in 2019, which ranks No. 2 on the Tigers' all-time list behind two-time Olympian Donn Cabral '12.

Overall, Trippas finished seventh out of 27 runners and two spots ahead of Cabral, who finished in 8:27.25.
