Seven Join Women's Hockey Team from Class of 2025

Set to begin its regular season with a visit to Yale and Brown on the final weekend of October, the Princeton women's hockey team, a program that stood ranked No. 6 in the nation at the end of its last season of competition in 2019-20, will welcome seven players from the university's Class of 2025.
Here's a look at the incoming class:

Mia CoeneÂ
Clayton, N.Y. / Bishop Kearney / Selects Hockey Academy
Before Princeton:Â Three-year team captain at Bishop Kearney, where the team was a two-time national championship runner-up during her time with the program ... teammate of Princeton teammate Ellie Marcovsky during the 2019-20 season at Bishop Kearney, winning the USA Hockey New York state championship ... earned valedictorian honors.
Personal:Â Parents are William and Selena Coene ... has older sisters Madelyn and Anna.

Dominique Cormier
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, N.B. / Stanstead College
Before Princeton:Â Played 107 games over two seasons at Stanstead College, scoring 18 goals and adding 45 assists for a total of 63 points between the two seasons; had eight goals and 26 helpers in 2018-19 and 10 goals with 19 assists in 2019-20 ... helped Stanstead to North American Prep Hockey Association championships in each season ... invited to Hockey Canada's U-18 Summer Camp in 2020 ... competed at Hockey Canada's Development Camp in 2021 ... competed in a three-game series against the U.S. U-18 team in 2019.

Emma Dornseif

Before Princeton:Â Was an all-state, all-conference, and academic all-conference honoree as a senior at Mahtomedi, scoring 12 goals and adding 12 assists while earning Most Valuable Defender honors ... had all-conference seasons as a sophomore and junior after earning team Rookie of the Year honors ... finished her Mahtomedi career with 26 goals and 38 assists for 64 points over five seasons.

Grace Kuipers

Before Princeton: Selected for the USA Hockey National Development Camps in all eligible years ... played five years of varsity hockey at Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota, racking up 169 points (81 goals, 88 assists) to stand fifth all-time in scoring while winning two regional titles and qualifying for two state tournaments ... two-time first-team all-state honoree and a four-time All-Lake Conference honoree served as team captain as a senior, earned team MVP honors during her career, and twice was the team's Offensive Player of the Year ... played club hockey with the Minnesota Junior Whitecaps for the five years prior to Princeton ... played for multiple top-ranked Tier 1 teams that have qualified for Nationals, and won a U-14 North American Hockey Academy Championship in 2017.
