Fresh off a first place finish at the Lehigh Invitational last weekend, Princeton's men's cross country team takes to its home course for the first time in 2021 on Saturday for HYP against Harvard and Yale.
Racing begins at 9 a.m. at West Windsor, the women's race will follow at approximately 9:45 a.m.
The Tigers claimed five of the top eight finishes on September 3 at the Lehigh Invitational, and finished with 20 team points -- owning a 38-point margin of victory over second-place Lehigh. Freshman Matt Farrell was the overall winner, crossing the line first in his collegiate debut. Joshua Zelek and Kevin Barry were 0.2 seconds behind to give Princeton a 1-2-3 finish.
Princeton is ranked No. 3 in the preseason USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region. Harvard enters the weekend ranked No. 28 in the USTFCCCA national poll and No. 3 in the Northeast Region.
