FULL RESULTS
PRINCETON, N.J. – In its first home meet of the 2021 season, the Princeton University men's cross country team finished a close second at HYP at West Windsor Fields Saturday morning.
Harvard University edged the Tigers by a single point, earning 36 to the Tigers' 37. Yale came in third with 58.
Princeton had five finishers inside the top-10; Joshua Zelek was fifth in a PR time for the 8K of 23:42.5, topping his previous PR of 24:42.1 from the Lehigh Paul Short Run in 2019. Kevin Berry also earned a PR and finished sixth in 23.46.2, besting his previous PR from the 2019 Lehigh Paul Short Run of 24:52.3. Matthew Farrell took seventh in 23:52.3, while Connor Nisbet finished ninth in a PR time of 24:10.6 and beat his previous PR of 24:30.7 from the 2019 Lehigh Paul Short Run. Nicholas Bendsten would finish 10th in 24:15.2.
Matt Grossman came in 21st in 25:06.5, Nate Tavakolian finished 26th in 25:25.6, and Fahd Nasser was 30th in 25:53.1.
