Kong, Tigers Take Runner-Up at William & Mary Invitational

Tiffany Kong and the Princeton women's golf team both finished runner-up at the William & Mary Invitational that wrapped Monday at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.

In carding a 4-under 212, Kong, a junior, finished her tournament with a career-best 68, becoming the 11th Tiger in program history to have a sub-70 round. Kong's previous best was a 70 turned in at the Entrada Classic in Utah in March 2020.

Princeton finished at +7 as a team, just a stroke behind winner James Madison. Kong was four strokes behind winner Letizia Bagnoli of Florida Atlantic (-8).

The Tigers will be away from competition before hosting the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton Sept. 25-26.
