Men's Cross Country Opens 2021 With Win At Lehigh Invitational

Princeton controlled the front of the pack at the Lehigh Invitational, claiming five of the top-eight spots to secure first place in the men's race. Overall, Princeton had seven of the top 11 runners and the Tigers' score of 20 points was 38 clear of second-place Lehigh.
Matthew Farrell was first, winning his first collegiate race in a time of 18:05.7 over the 6K course. Josh Zelek was right with his teammate, scoring the same time with senior Kevin Berry 0.2 seconds behind for third. Connor Nisbet was sixth in 18:28.0 while Matt Grossman rounded out the scoring in a time of 18:28.9.
Princeton returns to its home course on September 11, hosting the HYP meet against Harvard and Yale at West Windsor.
