Andrei Iosivas Sits First in Heptathlon at Wesley A. Brown Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Senior Andrei Iosivas of the Princeton University men's track & field team sits in first place in the Heptathlon after the opening day of competition at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational.

Iosivas finished first and earned PRs in all four events he competed in. In the 60, he clocked in at 6.87, besting his previous PR of 6.90. He then produced a leap of 7.49 meters in the long jump, topping his previous PR of 7.31 meters. In the shot put, his 14.84-meter heave eclipsed his previous PR of 13.78 meters, and he cleared 1.99 meters in the high jump, eight centimeters better than his previous PR of 1.91 meters. All four of Iosivas' previous PRs took place at 2020 Indoor Heps.
