Iosivas Named To 2022 FCS Walter Payton Award Watch List

PRINCETON – Andrei Iosivas has selected to the 2022 Stats Perform FCS Walter Payton Award Watch List, which presented to the national offensive player of the year in college football's Division I subdivision.

Iosivas leads the team in receptions with 40, securing 623 yards and four touchdowns. He had a stellar night against Harvard, going for nine catches and a career high 176 yards and a touchdown.
He was named East-West Shrine Bowl Outbreak Offensive Player of the Week after his 10-catch, 150-yard performance vs. Lafayette. He has at least five catches in five games this season and has three 100-yard performances.

More players can join the watch list during the regular season, and afterwards a national media panel will select the winner. First awarded in 1987, the Payton has watched past recipients such as Steve McNair, Tony Romo, Brian Westbrook, Jimmy Garoppolo, Cooper Kupp and Trey Lance move on to the NFL.

Also this season, Stats Perform will present the Buck Buchanan Award (FCS defensive player of the year), Jerry Rice Award (FCS freshman player of the year), Eddie Robinson Award (FCS coach of the year) and FedEx Ground Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
