PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team opens the 2022-23 season on Saturday, November 5, at 12:00 p.m. inside DeNunzio Pool with a tri-meet against Brown and Dartmouth.
On the Hunt For an Ivy Title
Princeton's squad, which is coming off a second-place finish at the 2022 Ivy League Championships includes All-American and 2022 Ivy League Championships Phil Moriarty High Point Swimmer of the Meet Raunak Khosla, along with All-American diver Joe Victor, and NCAA qualifiers Taso Callanan and George Callanan. All-Ivy League honorees Dylan Porges, Nicholas Lim, Tyler Hong, Max Kreidl, Brian Lou, Brett Feyerick, and Max Walther also return for the Tigers.
An Elite Incoming Class
The Tigers' 2022-23 recruiting class has been ranked No. 16 by SwimSwam, in its annual NCAA recruiting class rankings. Rankings are based on incoming times, potential upside in the class, class size, relay impact, and team needs filled.
The Tigers' incoming class consists of Conor McKenna, a SwimSwam top-20 recruit, along with James Pan, Kael Mlinek, Mitch Schott, Lucas Tudoras, Lucas Strøbek, Daniel Kim, and Rasmus Makela.
Welcome, Ted Everett
Joining the Tigers as Head Diving Coach in June 2022, Everett most recently spent three seasons at the University of Wyoming, where he won the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Diving Coach of the Year award in 2022 and the Mountain West Conference (MWC) Diving Coach of the Year Award in 2021.
Along with winning WAC Coach of the Year, Everett is coming off a 2021-22 season at Wyoming where he helped Melissa Mirafuentes capture All-America honors on 3-meter and platform, get named MWC Championships Diver of the Meet, win the MWC title on platform, and sent six divers to the NCAA Zone E Championships on all three boards. Everett also had divers named Diver of the Week on six occasions in 2021-22.
At Wyoming, Everett guided divers to All-America honors five times, NCAA Championship qualification four times, NCAA Zone Championship qualification 13 times, Academic All-America honors three times, Diver of the Week honors 13 times, Conference Championship Diver of the Meet honors three times, Conference Event Championships three times, had nine conference championship finalists, and helped divers make it onto the all-time top-10 list 12 times.

The Opponents
In 2021-22, Brown finished fourth in the Ivy League Championships and had a 4-3 record in dual meets. Head Coach Kevin Norman was also named Ivy League Coach of the Year last season. Prior to Saturday's meet, the Bears open their season on Friday, November 4, in New Haven, Connecticut, against Yale.
The Big Green's 2022-23 season opens with the tri-meet, and is coming off a 2021-22 season where it finished 2-6 overall, and a 1-6 in Ivy League meets. Dartmouth finished eighth at the 2022 Ivy league Championships.
