No. 8 Men's Water Polo Heads To Providence For NWPC Tournament

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 8 Men's Water Polo team preps for the Northeast Water Polo Conference Tournament this weekend.
Princeton is the No. 1 seed and will take on the winner of Brown/Iona on Saturday at noon. The NWPC Championship is Sunday at 1 p.m. All games will be streamed on ESPN+.
6: With two goals, Roko Pozaric will become the sixth player in program history to reach 60 goals twice. Pozaric contributed 68 tallies as a freshman and sits with 56 now. He has 89 points overall, corralling 33 helpers as well. He trails only Keller Maloney (94 points) for the team lead in points.
7: Princeton is looking for its seventh conference title in program history and second consecutive crown. The Tigers have won two NWPC championships under head coach Dustin Litvak.
10: The Tigers have won 10 straight games, their last loss coming one month ago (Oct. 18) vs. No. 10 Pepperdine. Princeton also won all 10 of its conference matches, securing the No. 1 seed.
11: The Tigers sit with 11 victories over ranked opponents. The squad's most impressive decision was an 11-10 mark over No. 3 Stanford, the program's first ever victory over the Cardinal. The Tigers are 11-5 overall against ranked foes.
359: Litvak's group has 359 goals which is already tied for second in program history, trailing only last season's 430. The Tigers have 10 players with at least 20 goals including four with at least 30.
