Yeager Named First-Team All-American; Davey Named Second-Team

Beth Yeager continues to make history with the Princeton field hockey program.

Yeager has been named an NFHCA first-team All-American, becoming the first Princeton player ever to be a first-team All-American as a freshman and a sophomore. She is also now the eighth TFH player to be a first-team All-American twice in a career.

In addition to Yeager, Princeton is also represented on the All-American team by defender Hannah Davey, a second-team selection. It is the second time in her career that Davey has been a second-team All-American, once on offense and once on defense.

Yeager, who led the Ivy League in goals and points this season, added to a list of accolades that includes being the Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and a two-time Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year.

Davey was the 2022 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-Region selection.
