Soccer's Barbara Earns Princeton's Nomination for NJAIAW Woman of the Year

Princeton senior Grace Barbara, who helped backstop Princeton to a trip to the second round of the NCAA tournament last fall, has earned the school's nomination for the NJAIAW's Woman of the Year award.
Barbara, a first-team All-Ivy League honoree in 2021 with a season that saw her accrue an 0.86 GAA with an 11-3-1 record as Princeton earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, hosted a first-round win over Vermont, and took No. 8-ranked TCU to overtime in the second round.
Along with her on-field contributions, Barbara served as a Student-Athlete Wellness Leader and is a senior majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology with a certificate in global health and health policy.
Barbara, who is spending part of her spring semester studying abroad in Africa, is set to be recognized during the NJAIAW's event on Feb. 20 at Seton Hall.
