Men’s Track and Field Dominates Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's track and field team brought their A-game in the final weekend before Heps, setting three top-10 school records at the Princeton Invitational.
Kaden Reynolds ran the 60 meters in 6.78 seconds, placing him sixth all-time in school history. Clocking in at 8.10 in the 60-meter hurdles, Taraje Whitfield is tied with Richard Shelton for tenth all-time in school history. Finally, Will Drury leapt a distance of 5.20 meters in the pole vault, landing him ninth all-time in school history.
Christian Brown (8.03) also competed in the 60-meter hurdles, while Andrei Iosivas (4.30 m) joined Will Drury in the pole vault. Both competitors placed second in their respective events.
Kaden Reynolds also raced in the 200 meters, taking second with a time of 22.32.
The Tigers went one-two in the 400 meters, with Ladislav Töpfer crossing the finish line in 49.95 seconds, followed by Klaudio Gjetja, who recorded a time of 50.70 seconds.
Princeton went one-two in the high jump as well, with Jeffrey Hollis matching his personal best of 2.15 meters, while John Hogan recorded a leap of 2.01 meters.
In the shotput, C.J. Licata earned a new personal best with a toss of 19.77 meters. That beat his previous mark of 19.09 meters and landed him in first place in the event. Meanwhile, Tyler Konopka (16.58 m) took second.
Wrapping up the last few individual events, Paul Brennan (18.03) earned first place in the weight throw, Malcolm Bevans (6.74 m) took the top spot in the long jump, and Austin Princewill (13.66 m) secured a second-place finish in the triple jump.
