Men’s Swimming & Diving Add Pair of Titles on Ivy Championships Night Two

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's swimming & diving team earned a pair of individual titles Thursday night inside DeNunzio Pool, on the second night of the Ivy League Championships.
The Tigers ended the night in second-place with 567 points, narrowly trailing Harvard who are in first with 570 points.
500 Freestyle
Porges finished first, touching the wall at a school record and NCAA B cut time of 4:17.84, besting the previous program record of 4:18.04 set by Travis McNamara '12. Nicholas Lim took second, with a time of 4:18.46, also an NCAA B cut. John Ehling also earned an NCAA B cut, finishing sixth in 4:21.86, while Peyton Werner took eighth in 4:24.10. Billy Swartwout finished 12th, and earned an NCAA B cut after clocking in at 4:21.94.
200 IM
Raunak Khosla earned a first-place finish for Princeton, shattering his Ivy League and school record of 1:42.80 and touching the wall at 1:41.88, an NCAA B cut. He also broke his pool record set in 2020, 1:42.89. Max Kreidl finished fourth with an NCAA B cut time of 1:44.58, and Tyler Hong fifth in 1:44.76, also an NCAA B cut. Hunter Kim clocked in at 1:47.65, to finish 16th.
50 Freestyle
Brian Lou earned a seventh-place finish, touching the wall at 19.82 and earning an NCAA B cut. Max Walther finished and Brett Feyerick, finishing 13th in 19.96, and NCAA B cut, and 14th in 19.99.
1-Meter Diving
With a score of 357.70, Colten Young finished second. Joe Victor finished fourth with a score of 325.40, George Callanan seventh with a 310.50, and Taso Callanan eighth with a 303.65. Griffin Brooks also finished 10th, with a score of 283.75.
200 Freestyle Relay
The Tigers finished second, after the team of Brian Lou, Brett Feyerick, Lim, and Max Walther clocked in at 1:18.51.

Day three of the Ivy League Championships takes place tomorrow, with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
