LEWISBURG, Pa. – Jovana Sekulic and Kaila Carroll combined for nine goals as the Princeton Tigers defeated the Bucknell Bison, 15-9, at Kinney Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
After combining for 10 goals last night, the dynamic duo put up nine as Sekulic dropped in five tallies and Carroll four in another top-25 win for Princeton.
The Tigers have now won nine straight games and currently 11-2 overall.
Head coach Derek Ellingson's squad scored seven straight goals after Bucknell registered the first tally of the game. The Tigers held a 10-3 halftime advantage before stretching their lead to nine, 13-4, with 1:44 to go in the third stanza. Bucknell closed the gap to five before a goal by Kate Mallery finished up the scoring with 37 seconds left.
Princeton wraps up the weekend with contests with No. 24 Brown (12 p.m.) and Saint Francis (3 p.m.) tomorrow.
