Women's Water Polo Sweeps CWPA Weekend; Extends Win Streak To 11

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Princeton Tigers extended their winning streak to 11 with two more victories over the No. 24 Brown Bears and Saint Francis Red Flash.
No. 20 Princeton 12, No. 24 Brown 6
Princeton went on a 6-0 run between the first and second quarters to take a 7-1 lead and would go on to take an 8-2 advantage into halftime. Brown cut the deficit to four with 4:25 to go, but goals from Jovana Sekulic and Alana Evans put the game away.
Goals: Sekulic 4, Carroll 3, Fraipont, Robinson, Carver, Mallery, Evans

The Tigers held a 3-2 lead after eight minutes of action and used a three-goal flurry to end the second stanza to hold a 7-3 advantage at the break. Head coach Derek Ellingson's squad led 10-5 after three frames and held the Red Flash off the scoreboard in the fourth stanza.

Saves: Zaller 12
Princeton is now 13-2 overall and on a 11-game winning streak. The Tigers have won all six of their CWPA conference contests. Ellingson's unit heads to California next week starting with two vs. CSUN (4 p.m.) and San Diego State (7 p.m.) next Sunday.
