Tigers Take Howe Cup Fifth-Place Match to Close Dual-Match Season

In the final dual match of the 2021-22 season, the No. 3-ranked Princeton women's squash team was a 7-2 winner over No. 8 Penn in the fifth-place match of the College Squash Association's Howe Cup on Sunday at Harvard.
Princeton got wins from Andrea Toth, Elle Ruggiero, Raneem El Torky, Caroline Spahr, Emme Leonard and Katherine Glaser at the first through sixth spots and from Josephine Klein on court eight. Toth, El Torky, Spahr, Leonard and Glaser were all winners in three games while Ruggiero was a winner in four, winning three straight games to close it out, and Klein also won in four after taking a 2-0 lead in games.
Glaser closed out a perfect sophomore dual-match season at 15-0 with the last 12 of those and 14 overall coming on court six.
The last event on the schedule for the Tigers is next weekend's CSA individual championships in Philadelphia.
