Andrei Iosivas and CJ Licata Earn All-American Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Al. – Andrei Iosivas and CJ Licata earned All-American honors in the heptathlon and shot put respectively. That brings the total number of All-Americans for Princeton men's track and field to eight.
As a team, the Tigers tied for fifth overall in the team score with Texas A&M.
In the heptathlon, Andrei Iosivas placed fourth with an Ivy League record 6069 points. The previous record holder was none other than Iosivas himself, who registered a score of 6036 at this year's Heps.
Iosivas ran a personal best 8.82 in the 60-meter hurdles, taking 12th in the event. In the pole vault, Iosivas took 11th with a distance of 4.66 meters. Finally, Iosivas recorded another personal best in the 1000 meters, clocking in at 2:46.93, good enough for 12th place.
Friday's events
60-meters: First place (6.71); Long jump: Sixth place (7.24 m); Shot put: Third place (15.25 m); High jump: Third place (2.09)
C.J. Licata placed eighth in the shot put with a toss of 19.75 meters, two one-hundredths off his personal best distance.
