Women’s Track and Field Sets Three Top-10 School Records at the Penn Challenge

PHILADELPHIA – The Princeton University women's track and field team started their outdoor season off strong, with three top-10 school performances in the 100 meters, javelin, and 4x100 meter relay.
Brianna Mponzi placed second in the 100 meters, her mark of 12.04 placing her seventh all-time in school history.
In the javelin, Emily Wilson took fourth with a distance of 40.61 meters, landing eighth all-time in school history. Meanwhile, Oluwatise Okeremi (33.30 m) placed tenth.
In the 4x100 meter relay, the team of India Ingemi, Arianna Smith, Samantha Anderson and Nia Mosby combined to go 46.46, good for third all-time in school history and first place in the event.
In the 200 meters, India Ingemi (24.62) secured third place, followed by Adelaide Asante (25.09) in fifth and Lauren Harris (25.44) in ninth.
Rounding out the throwing events, Madeline Wolford (47.55 m) took eighth in the hammer throw and tenth in the discus. Two more Tigers placed in the top-10 in discus, including Luisa Chantler Edmond (43.39 m) placing fourth and Jalah Morris (43.00 m) finishing sixth.

The Tigers will travel to two separate competitions, including the Raleigh relays and Texas relays from March 24th – March 26th.
