Princeton (1-4) began the season with five games in Leesburg, Fla., against Siena, Rutgers, Iowa, Notre Dame and North Florida. Adrienne Chang led the team with a .400 average and a .971 OPS over those five games. All four Tiger arms saw time in the circle, with Meghan Harrington, Ali Blanchard, Molly Chambers and Alexis Laudenslager working between 6 2/3 and 9 2/3 innings over the first weekend.
UCSD stands 9-11 on the season entering the weekend and is coming off a 2-3 weekend at its home San Diego Classic. The Tigers and the Tritons have never met on the softball field.
LMU (11-10) had five games at the Fullerton-hosted Judi Garman Classic, going 3-2. Princeton and LMU had one doubleheader at LMU in 2016 as the only time the teams have previously met, with LMU winning both games.
