No. 4 Women's Open Rowing Claims Eisenberg Cup At No. 3 Yale

No. 4 Princeton claimed victory in the Varsity Eight over No. 3 Yale, securing the Eisenberg Cup for the 12th consecutive season.

The win was the only of the day for the Tigers on the Housatonic, but was enough to retain the Cup and keep the 1V undefeated in 2022.

"We had an exciting day in Derby and Yale is a very strong crew," said head coach Lori Dauphiny. "It was a hard-fought race in the Eisenberg Cup and both crews raced well throughout the day."

Racing in a moderate headwind, the 1V secured its sixth win of the season and third over a Top-10 crew. Up next, the Tigers will host No. 1 Texas and No. 17 Rutgers on Lake Carnegie on April 23.
