Women's Open Crew Welcomes No. 1 Texas and No. 16 Rutgers to Lake Carnegie

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing team will welcome the defending national champion and No. 1 ranked Texas Longhorns along with the No. 16 Rutgers Scarlet Knights to Lake Carnegie on Saturday.
Princeton comes into the weekend with three victories over the top seven teams in the country in No. 7 Brown, No. 6 Ohio State and No. 3 Yale. The Tigers have secured the Class of 1987 Trophy and Class of 1975 and Eisenberg Cups.
"We are excited to race Texas and Rutgers on Saturday," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "Both programs have had great success, from Rutgers the fast team next door to Texas the reigning National Champion. We are grateful they are traveling to race at Princeton."
No. 1 Texas comes into the racing this weekend with impressive decisions over No. 13 SMU and No. 6 Michigan. No. 16 Rutgers heads to Princeton, fresh off six second-place finishes at the Big Ten Invitational in Florida.
