Women’s Track & Field Concludes Busy Weekend of Competition

PHILADELPHIA / EWING, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track and field team competed in seven events across two weekend events, bringing home seven top-10 finishes.
Beginning with the Penn Relays, Hanne Borstlap took fifth place in the pole vault championship with a distance of 3.88 meters.
Moving on to the TCNJ Outdoor Invitational, in the 800 meters, Paola Rodriguez (2:14.58) and Mena Scatchard (2:18.26) placed third and fifth respectively.
Oluwatise Okeremi earned third place in the javelin with a throw of 36.18 meters.
Madeline Wolford took third place in the discus after recording a distance 40.82 meters. Wolford went on to place sixth overall in the hammer throw with a toss of 45.14 meters.
In the high jump, Madeleine Wood placed eighth with a leap of 1.55 meters.
Up next: The Tigers will travel to New Haven, Connecticut for the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships from May 7th – May 8th.
