USTFCCCA Names Men’s Track & Field All-Academic Team

NEW ORLEANS – The Princeton University men's track & field team was honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as an All-Academic Team Wednesday afternoon.
In order to be a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, all student-athletes on an institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor track & field must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Tigers had a 3.23 GPA.
Additionally, 16 Tigers were honored as mebers of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team; Chandler Ault, Kevin Berry, Andersen Dimon, William Doyle, Matt Grossman, Simen Guttormsen, Sondre Guttormsen, Jeffrey Hollis, Jakob Kintzele, Anthony Monte, Michael Phillippy, Ethan Reese, Sam Rodman, Aviram Shwarzbard, Ladislav Töpfer, and Ed Trippas.
To be a USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Other criteria includes having completed at least two semester, finishing the indoor season ranked inside the top 96 in any championship individual event, or in the top 48 in any championship relay event. For the outdoor season, student-athletes must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
