Princeton Stands 25th on SoccerWire's List of Nation's Top 50 Programs

Coming off its fourth NCAA tournament appearance in six competitive seasons under head coach Sean Driscoll -- and third time that Princeton has advanced in the tournament in those four trips -- the Princeton women's soccer program has earned the No. 25 spot on SoccerWire's list of Top 50 programs.
The Tigers carry the flag for the Ivy League on the list and have won three Ivy championships under Driscoll, in 2015, 2017 and 2018. While earning the Ivy's NCAA automatic bid in each of those seasons, Princeton advanced in the tournament in the first two of those years, making the NCAA quarterfinals in 2017. In the program's return to play from the pandemic in 2021, Princeton earned an at-large NCAA bid and advanced to the second round.
Princeton returns 11 players who scored a goal during the 15-3-1 season in 2021 and will open the 2022 schedule at home against Colgate on Aug. 26.Â
