MacNab, Wozniak Sweep Ivy's Opening-Week Awards

Two wins and two outstanding performances have netted sophomore Heather MacNab and freshman Kelsee Wozniak honors as the Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Week.
MacNab had a hat trick in a span of six minutes and 44 seconds to help turn a 1-0 Princeton deficit against Colgate on Friday night into a 3-1 Tiger lead, and Wozniak followed just 2:23 after MacNab's last goal with the first goal of Wozniak's career to put Princeton ahead 4-1. Wozniak also assisted on each of MacNab's last two goals in Wozniak's career debut.
MacNab was the first Princeton player since Mimi Asom '19 in 2018 to net a hat trick, and first since Asom in 2016 to do so as a sophomore or younger. MacNab went on to add the first assist on Princeton's first goal in an eventual 2-0 win over Fairfield on Sunday night.
The Tigers will head to Rhode Island on Thursday night before a trip to No. 3-ranked Rutgers on Sunday morning.Â
