Women’s Track and Field headed to Annapolis for Navy Dual

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track and field team will compete against Navy in a dual meet on Saturday, January 14th inside the Wesley A. Brown field house.

Most recently for Princeton, at the Joe Handelman Invitational, the team opened up the 2022-23 indoor season on a high note. The Tiger women impressed with six, top-10 school record performances.

The six, top-10 performers include:

Tessa Mudd	Women's Pole Vault	No. 2 4.15m
Arianna Smith	Women's 300m	No. 2 39.67
Brianna Mponzi	Women's 60m	No. 7 7.64
Siniru Iheoma	Women's Weight Throw	No. 8 16.91 m
India Ingemi	Women's 300 m	No. 9 40.53
Lily Parris	Women's 60m Hurdles	No. 10 8.82

In their most recent outing at the Navy Invitational, the Mids recorded 8 ECAC qualifying marks. In the 2021-22 season, The Tigers defeated Navy at the Navy Dual meet with a score of 103-77 and set five top-10 school performances that contributed to the victory.

Saturday's meet will kick off at 10:00 a.m. in Wesley A. Brown Field House with the women's high jump.
