Men's Tennis Opens Dual Season Against DePaul & Wisconsin

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team open its dual season in Madison, Wisconsin, on Saturday, January against DePaul at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT, and Wisconsin at 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
Princeton is coming off a 2022 dual season where it gained selection to the NCAA Tournament, and faced No. 16 Arizona in the Round of 64. The Tigers ended the season ranked No. 40 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), had an 18-9 overall record along with a 4-3 record in Ivy League play.
The Tigers return seniors Will Peters and Thomas Bosancic, along with junior Ben Smith, sophomores Alan Kam, Aidan Mahoney, Matthew Bosancic and Filippos Astreinidis, and freshman Fnu Nidunjianzan, Sebastian Sec and Ellis Short. Nidunjianzan was tabbed the nation's No. 6 newcomer in the ITA preseason poll.
Wisconsin had a 12-10 record in 2022, along with a 6-2 record in Big Ten play. In the 2022 Big Ten Tournament, the Badgers fell to Illinois in the quarterfinals, 4-1. Wisconsin also features the No. 24-ranked doubles team of Gabriel Huber and Michael Minasyan.
The Blue Demons won their second-straight BIG EAST title in 2022, and took on Kentucky in the Round of 64 at the NCAA Tournament.
