
Men's Cross Country Secures Victory at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals, Earns Ticket to Nationals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Princeton men's cross country team secured the top spot at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, marking their first victory in the Mid-Atlantic region since 2021.
The Princeton men's cross country team exhibited its exceptional skill clinching the coveted first-place position among a field of 26 schools. The individual finishing performances of the team earned each runner All-Region honors.
Nicholas Bendtsen secured an impressive fourth place, crossing the finish line with a time of 29:29.2 in the men's 10k. Following closely, Jarrett Kirk claimed the sixth position, clocking in at 29:31.5, while Connor Nisbet showcased his speed and precision, earning eighth place with a time of 29:31.6.
Anthony Monte demonstrated his strength by finishing in eleventh place with a time of 29:47.0, closely followed by Daniel O'Brien, who secured twelfth place with a time of 29:47.2. Josh Zelek's performance earned him the eighteenth spot, completing the race in 30:01.4.
Connor Livingston rounded out the team's success, finishing in twenty-third place with a time of 30:08.5. This outstanding collective effort not only secured their top standing among the 26 participating schools but also showcased the depth of talent within the team.
"We've got one more race," said head coach Jason Vigilante. "I'm so proud of our team, and I'm really looking forward to returning to training with just one week left before our trip to Charlottesville. Go Tigers!"
