Tordin Adds All-ECAC Honor to Ivy, National Recognition

Already an All-American and an honoree at the all-region and All-Ivy levels, Princeton sophomore Pietra Tordin has added All-ECAC recognition to the list.

Tordin was announced as a second-team Division I All-ECAC honoree after leading the Ivy League in shots (82), shots on goal (38) and game-winning goals (seven) while finishing second in the league with 12 goals. Halfway through her Princeton career, Tordin stands 14th on the program's career scoring list with 20 goals over her first two seasons.

Tordin was also a third-team United Soccer Coaches All-American, a second-team United Soccer Coaches All-East Region, and a first-team All-Ivy League honoree this season.

Tordin helped Princeton earn an at-large NCAA bid in a season that saw the Ivy earn four NCAA bids for the third time in league history and first since 2001. It was the fourth time in eight competitive seasons under head coach Sean Driscoll that Princeton made the second round of the NCAAs, doing so after hosting a first-round game for the fourth time in Driscoll's tenure and extending its home NCAA winning streak to eight games.
