Men's Track and Field Impresses at Fastrack National and BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational

The Princeton men's track and field team had an impressive showing at the Fastrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday evening.
The Tigers recorded several, first place finishes as well as new, top-ten Princeton performances.
In the weight throw, Avery Shunneson impressed with a first-place finish and new, personal best with an 18.92m toss.
The Tigers also had a great showing in the shot put, taking all the top-three places.
Tyler Konopka took first with a 17.32m mark, Casey Helm took second with 16.94m, and Joe Licata finished in third with a distance of 16.62m.
Greg Foster continues to impress within the long jump. Foster took first place, finishing with a mark of 7.45m.
Four Tigers had admirable performances within the 60m hurdles. Greg Foster took second (7.92), Easton Tan finished in fourth (8.09), Jovan Aigbekaen in fifth (8.18) and Albert Kreutzer finished in eighth (8.46).
Aiden Silvestri represented Princeton in the 400m Dash, finishing in 14th with a time of 50.48, and within the triple jump, Ilay Furman finished with a 14.41m jump.
BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational
The Tigers also competed among a pool of competive, collegiate talent at the BU Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Sam Rodman continues to raise the bar within the 800m run. Rodman set a new No. 1 All-time Princeton performance with 1:46.96, surpassing his previous PR set earlier this season at HYP of 1:47.49.
Ethan Reese also finished with a solid time of 1:49.98.
Duncan Miller had an incredible showing in the mile run, finishing in 3:56.77. His performance will now stand as the new No. 1 all time Princeton performance. In Boston, Miller finished within the top-20 among some top, national collegiate talent.
Nicholas Bendsten also impressed, finishing in 3:59.47. His time will earn him a spot at No. 6 among the Princeton top-10 all-time performances list.
The Princeton team of Joey Gant, Billy Doyle, Ibrahim Ayorinde, and Andersen Dimon took a first-place finish within the 4x400, as well as the second best Princeton all-time performance, coming in at 3:10.01.
The Tigers also had an admirable showing within the Men's 200m dash.
Ibrahim Ayorinde took second place coming in at 21.12. Daniel Duncan placed right behind in third at 21.22.
Joey Gant came in ninth at 21.37. With this time, he will continue to hold his spot at No. 5 on the top ten performances list, improving his previous record of 21.41. Ladislav Topfer also finished at 21.73.
Another top-ten, Princeton performance was recorded in the 400m Dash. Anderseon Dimon took third place with a 47.33 finish. With this time, he will jump to No. 5 on the all-time Princeton performances list.
Josh Zelek was the top Tiger within the 3000m run. Zelek finished in 7:58.81, which will now stand as the No. 9, all-time Princeton performance.
The Princeton men continue to prove themselves on the national level, and leave Boston with a number of historic, Tiger performances.
