Men's Track and Field Closes Out Regular, Indoor Season with Strong Performances at Princeton Invitational

Final Results
Princeton, NJ - The Tiger men competed in the Princeton invitational meet on Sunday, February 19th, ending the weekend with some showings in Jadwin Gymnasium.

Sunday's performances were the final showings from the Tiger men before the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships begin next weekend at Dartmouth College on February 24th and 25th.

 In the 400m Ladislav Topfer took a first place finish at 49.80. Aiden Silvestri took second with 50.57, and Isa Hitches finished in third at 51.17.

 In the 60m Hurdles Greg Foster finished first with a time of 8.02. Easton Tan took second (8.17), Jovan Aigbekaen third (8.25), and Albert Kreutzer in fourth (8.27).

Two Tigers competed in the High Jump. Jack Hogan finished with a 1.90m result, and Chris Paige recorded a new personal best with a 1.75m jump.

Sondre Guttormsen and Joe Avallone represented in the Pole Vault. Guttormsen finished with an impressive result of 5.81m, and Avallone's result was 4.00 m.

In the Long Jump, Ilay Furman impressed with a 6.79m leap. Chris Page also finished the day with a new personal best of 6.66m.

David Amelemah impressed in the Triple Jump, taking first place finish and a new personal best with a 13.88m result.

A trio of Tigers had strong performances in the Shot Put. Tyler Konopka led the Tigers, taking first place with a 17.05m toss, Casey Helm's result was 16.60m, and Joe Licata's final result was 15.56m.

A pair of Tigers, Avery Shunneson and Asher Robbins, participated in the Weight Throw. Shunneson completed a new PR with a 19.09m throw, and Robbins also took a new PR with a 17.97m throw.
The Tigers will take the upcoming week to get ready for the first day of competition at the Ivy League Heptagonal championships that begin on February 24th.Â
