PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's basketball team plays its final regular season road contest in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday, February 25, at 2 p.m. against Harvard.
Ivy Tournament Bound
The Tigers have officially clinched a spot in the 2023 Ivy League Tournament, and will play in the tournament for the fifth time in its sixth year of existence. Ivy Madness begins on Saturday, March 11 inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
Last Time Out
Princeton split its last two games; the Tigers overcame Brown on Friday, February 17, 78-67, before falling just short to Yale in overtime, 93-83, on Saturday, February 18. Both games took place inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
200 Career Wins
Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson recorded his 200th career win Princeton's 89-82 victory over Cornell on Friday, February 3, inside Jadwin Gymnasium. He is currently third all-time in wins at Princeton; Franklin (Cappy) Cappon is second with 250, and Pete Carril first with 514.

Princeton's victory over Cornell on Friday, February 3, marked 100 regular-season Ivy League wins for Henderson. He became the eighth Ivy League men's basketball coach to reach the milestone, and the second from Princeton as Pete Carril sits atop the list with 310 regular-season conference wins.
Crashing The Boards
The Tigers have been one of the best rebounding teams in the nation so far in 2022-23, with their 29.13 defensive rebounds per game ranking No. 4 in the nation. Princeton's rebound margin of 7.2 also ranks No. 9 nationally, and the Tigers rank No. 14 in the nation in rebounds per game, averaging 39.36.
Efficient Shooting
The Tigers' Effective field goal percentage of 53.6% ranks No. 58 in the country, and the Tigers' field goal percentage of 46.4% ranks No. 78 nationally.
200 Assists For Evbuomwan
In the first half of Princeton's game against Iona on Tuesday, December 13, Evbuomwan found Pierce for the 200th assist of his career. Evbuomwan's 142 assists in the 2021-22 season were No. 2 all-time at Princeton, trailing only William F. Ryan's 161 assists in the 1983-84 season.
Evbuomwan On The All-Time Assists List
His 286 career assists rank No. 10 in school history; Evbuomwan needs nine assists to tie Marcus Schroeder '10, who ended his career with 295 assists, for No. 9 on the Tigers' all-time list.
The 2022 Ivy League Player of the Year
Evbuomwan has continued his stellar play in the 2022-23 season, ranking first on the team and fourth in the Ivy League in scoring with 14.8 points on 52.6% shooting, which ranks eighth in the conference. He also ranks second on the team in rebounding and sixth in the Ivy League with 6.2 per game, leads the conference in assists with 4.8 and is tied for third on the team in steals with 18. Evbuomwan's assist/turnover ratio of 1.6 also ranks sixth in the Ivy League.
CSC Academic All-District
College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, February 21, and Evbuomwan and senior Jacob O'Connell were both honorees.
Caden Pierce, Rebounding Machine
Pierce leads the Tigers and ranks fifth in the Ivy League in both rebounds per game (6.6) and total rebounds (166). Pierce's 166 rebounds are also a rookie record at Princeton, as he bypassed Chris Young '02 who held the previous rookie record of 160. Additionally, Pierce has tallied four double-doubles so far in 2022-23.
Ivy Rookie of the Week
Pierce was honored as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the third time in 2022-23 on Monday, February 14, after he stuffed the stat sheet during the Tigers' game at Dartmouth. it marked the second-straighr week of a Tiger being named Rookie of the Week, and the fifth time total this season.
Deven Austin and Xaivian Lee have each won the award once.
100 Made Threes For Langborg
With 138 made three-pointers in his career, Langborg moved to No. 15 on the Tigers' all-time list This was accomplished in a shortened 2019-20 season and no 2020-21 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 22 Tigers have exceeded 100 made three-pointers in their career.
Langborg is also averaging 11.8 points per game, which ranks second on the team and 13th in the Ivy League, and his 2.0 three-pointers per game rank sixth in the conference. Additionally, Langborg's 66 made three-pointers in the 2021-22 rank No. 13 all-time at Princeton for most made three-pointers in a season.
A Presence Inside
Kellman has provided the Tigers with a reliable presence inside in 2022-23, averaging 8.7 points (No. 4 on the team) on 60.7% shooting (No. 2 in the Ivy League) along with 4.4 rebounds. He has scored in double digits in ten games, and Kellman's 21 blocked shots rank seventh in the Ivy League.
Allocco Steps Up
Allocco has taken his game to another level this season, and ranks third on the team in scoring with 11.2 points on 50.0% shooting from the field and 41.2% shooting from three, which ranks No. 3 in the Ivy League. He also ranks third on the team in rebounding with 4.8, second in assists with 56 and has a team-high 21 steals.

The Tigers hosted Harvard in their first regular season Ivy League contest of 2022-23 on Saturday, December 31, inside Jadwin Gymnasium in a contest where the Tigers prevailed, 69-66.
