Men's Tennis Falls at No. 21 MTSU, 5-2

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University men's tennis team fell to No. 21 Middle Tennessee State, 5-2, Sunday afternoon at the Adams Tennis Complex.
"It was tough battle today against a very good and experienced MTSU team," said Head Coach Billy Pate. "Despite dropping doubles and losing all six first sets, we fought incredibly well from that point and gave ourselves a chance to turn the match. If we could've executed in doubles and consolidated some early singles leads it might have been a different story. Nonetheless, I'm very proud of the effort and resiliency we showed today - lots of takeaways from this match that we will use as fuel for next weekend's matches."
The Tigers earned a pair of impressive wins in singles, with Sebastian Sec taking down No. 60 Oskar Brostrom Poulse at No. 3, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (6-4), and Ellis Short outlasting Marcel Kamrowski at No. 5, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
