Men’s Track and Field Listed at No. 20 in the Nation by USTFCCCA

Princeton, N.J. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its' third edition of the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index, with the Princeton Men's Track and Field Team ranked at No. 20 in the nation.
Sondre Guttormsen was the only Tiger on the men's squad to compete this past weekend at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational in the Albuquerque Convention Center, taking first place in the Men's Pole Vault with a new, indoor PR of 5.90m (19'41/4"). This latest performance from Guttormsen is the 5th highest jump in NCAA History.
The Tigers have four top-20 marks in the nation, including Sondre Guttormsen (5.90 m) and Simen Guttormsen (5.55 m) ranking first and ninth in the pole vault, Sam Rodman (1:47.49) ranking tenth in the 800m, and Greg Foster (7.89m) ranking sixth in the long jump.

The Princeton men will return to Boston this weekend to compete at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational. The 2023 Indoor Heptagonal Championships are also on the horizon for the Princeton men later this month on February 25th and 26th.
