Connors Earns ECAC Hockey Weekly Honor

Princeton senior Maggie Connors had a three-point weekend over a pair of one-goal games as the Tigers swept the ECAC Hockey weekend at Harvard and Dartmouth, helping Connors earn ECAC Hockey Co-Forward of the Week honors.
Connors shares the recognition with Yale's Charlotte Welch.
Last Friday night at Harvard, Connors started the scoring just seven seconds into the game, and she followed that with an assist on a Sarah Fillier goal before the midway point of the period to give Princeton a 2-0 lead in an eventual 3-2 win.
Saturday at Dartmouth, Connors tied the game at 1-1 with less than five minutes to go in the second period in a game Princeton went on to win 2-1.
On the season, Connors stands second on the team to Fillier with 13 goals and 23 points and is tied for second with 10 assists. For her career, Connors has 74 goals, tops among active Tigers and 12th in program history, 61 assists, three short of 14th-most in program history, and 135 points, seven out of 12th place in program history. Connors trails only Fillier among active Tigers in career assists and points.
Connors and the Tigers will host Union and Rensselaer Friday and Saturday at Baker Rink in the final home weekend of the regular season. Tickets are available here.
