LONG BEACH – Jovana Sekulic scored four goals as the No. 13 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team dropped the No. 7 Long Beach State Beach, 11-8, tonight.
The Tigers scored the first three goals and led 4-1 after eight minutes. Princeton's offensive firepower continued with the first four tallies of the second quarter, earning an 8-2 advantage at the break.
Long Beach State made a push in the second half, closing the gap to two, 10-8, with 2:28 to go, but Kate Mallery put the contest away with the final goal of the game.
