Baseball Finishes Spring Break Trip With Cincinnati and SC Upstate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Princeton baseball team continues its Spring Break trip with a four-game series that features contests vs. Cincinnati and SC Upstate.

The Tigers take on Cincinnati on Friday (9 a.m.) before a doubleheader vs. Cincinnati (12 p.m.) and SC Upstate (4 p.m.) on Saturday. Princeton finishes up the weekend with the host school, SC Upstate, on Sunday (1 p.m.).

The highlight of the Spring Break trip has been a victory over Richmond on Monday. Brendan Cumming had three hits for the Tigers while Jacob Faulkner finished off the win with three scoreless frames.

Cumming leads the team in hits with 16 while Eric Marasheski paces the Tigers with a .357 average. Kyle Vinci has a team-best four home runs while also adding eight RBI. Justin Kim has posted a 3.65 ERA in five relief appearances while Faulkner has a 3.94 ERA in 16 innings.
