Sondre Guttormsen Named to Men’s Pre-NCAA Indoor Championships Watch List for The Bowerman

Princeton N.J. – Senior, Sondre Guttormsen has been named to the 2023 Men's Pre-NCAA Indoor Championships Watch List for the Bowerman, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Guttormsen continues to be a consistent presence upon the watch list. He is one of ten athletes on the official men's pre-NCAA indoor watch list and has previously been listed upon the preseason and mid-indoor edition for 2023.
Following his record breaking, pole vault performance at the New Mexico Collegiate Invitational of 5.90m, Guttormsen's mark not only ranks first in the NCAA, but is the fifth, highest jump in NCAA history. This mark also puts Guttormsen as the No. 1 seed in the Men's Pole Vault for the upcoming Division I NCAA Indoor Championships.

Next weekend, Guttormsen will be traveling to the Albuquerque Convention Center to represent Princeton at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Championships. While in New Mexico, he will compete among the top pole vault performers within the NCAA and seek a back-to-back, National Champion title.
