Heavies Set To Open Spring Season At Lake Carnegie Saturday

PRINCETON – The No. 9 Men's Heavyweight Rowing Squad gets the spring season underway on Saturday (Mar. 25) against No. 16 Drexel/No. 20 Temple and No. 22 Georgetown at Lake Carnegie.
The Tigers are coming off a fantastic fall season that had them take the second and fifth best collegiate times in the Championship Fours race at the Head of the Charles. Princeton's varsity eight secured 11th overall.
Princeton secured a gold medal at last year's IRAs with the varsity four capturing first place, the program's first gold at IRAs since 2016.
Last season, Princeton's varsity eight (5:47) took home the top time with Drexel (5:51.5), Temple (5:53.4) and Georgetown (5:57.4). The Tigers also collected victories in the second varsity and third varsity.
