March 26, 2023 | Baseball
Game 1 – Princeton 6, Dartmouth 1
After blasting two home runs on Friday, Kyle Vinci's dribbler to the pitcher got the Tigers their first run of the day in the first inning. A pass ball tied the game in the next half frame for Dartmouth. Jake Koonin's sacrifice fly made the Ivy matchup, 2-1, in the bottom of the second stanza.
In the fifth inning, Scott Bandura ripped a triple down the right field line before Vinci countered his infield bunt in the first with a towering home run to left field.

Princeton wasted no time with an answer as Vinci singled home Bandura who led off with a triple in the next half stanza.
The Tigers poured it on the bottom of the sixth, scoring four times on just one hit.
A Bold two-run single in the seventh gave the Tigers an eight-run advantage to wrap up the scoring.
Matt Scannell opened the game for the Tigers on the mound, striking out four and allowing one unearned run in three innings to pick up the win.
Princeton will head into next week as the only undefeated Ivy League team. That was the Tigers' first sweep over Dartmouth since 2016 (two games). The Tigers will travel to Harvard next week (Apr. 1 and 2).
